HIS LOVE
You love me in the chaos
You love me in the light
You love in the silence
You love me in the night
You love me when I'm sick
You love me when I'm well
You loved me in my past
You love me here and now
You love me in the storm
You love me in the calm
You love me when I'm right
And even when I'm wrong
Your love is everlasting
Your love is born from pain
Your love gave everything
So I could live again

Sometimes I find that when I'm in the midst of pain, trials and suffering, I feel unloved by God. During such a time, this simple little poem just came together in five minutes. God was reminding me of His love. It doesn't really matter how we feel, because God's love for us is always there. During this time of Easter, I am amazed at how God showed his love through the suffering of his Son who choose to hang on a cross for our sins. In comparison with the sufferings of others, mine seems so insignificant.
For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels,
nor principalities, nor things present,
nor things to come, nor powers,
nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing,
will be able to separate us from the love of God,
which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38-39
